Conversation Lesson 2 - Fine Dining:
Situation: You are in a fine dining restaurant with your date. A waiter comes to get your order...
Waiter: May I take your order, sir?
You: Yes. The lady would like the house salad as an appetizer, salmon as the main course and
apple pie for dessert.
Waiter: What about you, sir?
You: What is the soup of the day?
Waiter: Today we have tomato soup, sir.
You: Then I will have tomato soup as an appetizer, steak as the main course and chocolate cake
for dessert.
Waiter: What would you like to drink, sir? Would you like to look at our wine menu?
You: No, thanks. We will both have sparkling water.
Waiter: Certainly, sir. I'll be back shortly with your appetizers.
